Chocolate Chip Cake Recipe

1¼ cups all-purpose flour

½ cup whole water flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

½ tsp salt

2/3 cup softened butter

1 cup firmly brown sugar

1 ½ tsps vanilla extract

3 large eggs

1 cup milk

¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit degree. Butter two 9 inch round cake pans. Line with waxed paper. Butter the paper. Sift the flours, baking powder and salt into a medium bowl.

2. Beat the butter, the sugars and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed until creamy. Add the eggs one a time until just blended after each addition. With mixer at low speed, gradually beat in the dry ingredients, alternating with milk.

3. By hand, stir in the chocolate chips. Spoon half the batter into each of the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool the cakes in pans for 10 minutes. Turn out onto racks. Carefully remove the waxed paper and let cool completely.

4.Enjoy!
